Customizing OS Commerce to my site look

How would I customize OS commerce to my site look, i.e. rearrange everything, give new colors, change page format, etc.

I know I can change colors with the CSS Style Sheet, but I don't seem to be able to change all the content.

Thanks a lot.

Have a look at the STS template contrib in the contributions area. It will allow you to create a easy non-standards OSC look. But remember you iwll have to work and deal with PHP coding.

Depending on what you want to customise, your knowledge about editing (not writing !) PHP with a text editor and a bit of time you can change most things.

The files I mainly had to deal with to change my installation are

configure.php x 2 (in admin/includes and also catalog/includes)

includes/english.php - To change text, fonts and colors

includes/infobox - To change the images for the boxes

includes/english/index - Change your front page

Also see knowledge base on how to centre your site and the files you have to change in Catalog as well as the header.php and footer.php

This should give you a start
