Guest Posted January 13, 2005 Posted January 13, 2005 good, as you dont edit the files with the file manager, it creates all kinds of havoc with the files. use ftp to download, then edit and then upload the files.

Guest Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 get yourself an ftp program, available by searching the internet. then you will setup the program, to download/upload yourcode. use wordpad or a phpeditor available by searching the internet also.
aaaixxx Posted January 14, 2005 Author Posted January 14, 2005 can I just copy and past the html to macromeida, edit it. then copy and past it back?
Guest Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 Hi Boris, To answer your last question first. Yes you can copy and paste and do it that way but a much better and easier way is to purchase the FTP program Interarchy. It is simply the best FTP program I have ever found and with it you can select a file, hit a key combination and get a file to open in a program of your preferred choice, edit the file and then when you press save in the program it will automatically update the file on the server!! Simple! I use this method all the time and have never looked back! Hope this helps. Regards, Mark Bowen
