Members only purchases

I need to be able to restrict the purchasing of some items in my shop to paid-up members of our Club (specifically items that have our logo on). Is it possible to have a membership number field at registration which along with their surname is referenced to our list of members (can be in pretty much any format, even CSV) and then enables them to order certain items?

Not a massive problem if it can't be done, I guess my priority should be to get the NoChex APC working properly first (see the payments module section of the forum ;)
