Searching orders by products name/code

Hi gurus,

 

I like to make a search field in orders.php of admin to search orders by giving products name or code. So that, any orders having that product will be listed. Is it possible? Any pointer?

 

I hope, someone can figure this out and help me.

Please tell us how you did this.

 

I need to be able to search for various stuff within the orders database and not just the Order ID. Like search for customer name, product, payment type, etc...

 

Is there a contribution to do this or does anyone know how to do this?
