Where are the template files, best tools and sample codes? Thus far i have changed the frame title from english.php...WOW, but the front page content is eluding me! I have changed the logo simply by overwriting the oscommerce.gif. Sorry to have to enter such a dumb question, but I am now pulling my hair out! Better still are there any ***free*** templates as a google serach was only offering them at cost. Thanx to you all in advance.

Thanx to you all in advance. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Read the knowledge base before doing anything else, its really useful for learning how to change things to the way you want them. If you read the defult text on the home page of your site, it tells you how to edit it. the file you need to change is public_html/catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php word of warning. do not use the file editor in admin, it has a bug and will give you more problems. download the file to your local pc, make a back up copy so you can always go back, edit it in a text editor such as notepad, and upload it back to your host. do not get tempted to use word, this will give you problems too. main thing to remember is that ' is a code in php. try to avoid using them in your text. if you have to, put a / before the ' so it looks like this /' that will tell the file it is to be used as text and not as code. hope this helps.
