I seem to be getting the following error:

Line 79 in english.php is as follows:

define('BOX_HEADING_WHATS_NEW', 'What's New?');

I have not done anything with this line of code. Please can someone offer any help, I'm new to php ?

don\'t use the osc editor but a simple ascii editor and change

What's New?

into

Thanks that worked for that line, but now I'm getting the following in the same file:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in ...wwwroot\catalog\includes\languages\english.php on line 146

Line 146 is :

define('JS_REVIEW_TEXT', '* The 'Review Text' must have at least ' . REVIEW_TEXT_MIN_LENGTH . ' characters.n');

Am I getting these errors because I used the osc editor to view the file ?

I have the same problem but that doesn't solve it?

Also, I would post my code here, but notepad just puts it all in one huge continuous line and it looks REALLY confusing.

Any other suggestions?

yes, the original entry looks like this :

define('JS_REVIEW_TEXT', '* The \'Review Text\' must have at least ' . REVIEW_TEXT_MIN_LENGTH . ' characters.\n');

well, no need to post it, I know you have quotes in the text without a slash infront of it and now you know as well, I myself use wordpad but I have heard others say that that may also cause problems but for me it works with no problems for months now.

OK... I have looked through the whole file and cant see anywhere that I have a quote without a slash in front.

Does anybody know what is in the original index.php file?

My version

ok, these two:

define('TEXT_BUY', 'Buy 1 '');

define('TEXT_NOW', '' now');

change to :

define('TEXT_BUY', 'Buy 1 ');

define('TEXT_NOW', ' now');
