problem with Shipping-Payment v5.0

Hello,

 

I want specific items to have free shipping and others with > ?0? weight to be charged via the UPS.

 

I am installing Linda?s Free Shipping-Payment v5.0 contribution. I have followed each step in the readme exactly. The only thing I am not sure about is the ?if? statements in the webmakers_added_functions.php. This might be my problem, but I am not sure.

 

The error message I am receiving in checkout is:

United Parcel Service An error occured with the UPS shipping calculations.

If you prefer to use UPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner.

 

I don?t know what else to do from here. I give up trying to figure it out on my own.

 

Please be aware, I am a newbie. Don?t take it for granted that I know anything. (I did not know what an icon was a couple of months ago). I can read and follow directions extremely well though. I have had very little problems installing oscommerce, making changes, adding contributions, etc. Yet, I have never run into anything this frustrating in my entire life. I just can not figure it out. I have thrown many childish temper tantrums over the hours I have been working on this. I suffer from O.C.D. (obsessive compulsive disorder) and I can not stop a project until it is complete. I started almost exactly 24 hours ago installing this mod and I have been working on it non stop, going in circles, reading posts, throwing objects across the room and making up curse words because I am tired of using the same ones over and over.

 

Please help me before I break anything else.
