Help much appreciated <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A better solution especially if you are on a shared server is to go to your two configure.php files and change This define('STORE_SESSIONS', ''); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql' To define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql' The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

I am a bit lost here
ozcsys Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 Hi Richard, were abouts do i edit these from?I am a bit lost here <{POST_SNAPBACK}> includes/configure.php admin/includes/configure.php It is the last line in each file. If you have not edited any files yet you can use notepad to edit them and then upload them back to the server. Do not use the online file manager in your osC admin as it will screw up your files. If you are going to do much editing you should get a php editor. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? Use notepad!! The line is there it is the last line of the database information you need to make sure you are in the correct files // define our database connection define('DB_SERVER', ''); // eg, localhost - should not be empty for productive servers define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', ''); define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', ''); define('DB_DATABASE', 'osCommerce'); define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false'); // use persistent connections? define('STORE_SESSIONS', ''); // leave empty '' for default handler or set to 'mysql' If you do not see this then you have the wrong files.
