Disable Zones/Countries

Store owners should be able to disable Zones and Countries. For example, right now, I do not do International Shipping. It is too much of a hassle for me at this time. In order to restrict orders to the U.S., I have to delete the other countries and zones in the database. If I should decide to ship to Canada in the future, I have to re-add that state and all its zones. Same for other countries in the future. It would be much easier with a status switch where you can disable/enable countries and their zones in the Administration Tool.

Each Zone within a country should be able to be disabled as well. For example, not all states in the U.S. allow direct shipment of Alcohol products from out of state vendors. So potential customers in these states need to be turned away as soon as possible. This would be easiest if their Zone wasn't allowed and they were presented with a message simply stating that the store doesn't serve their area.

Deleting them from the database does work to eliminate them but it makes adding them in later a lot more difficult.

Hmm thinking about it I think I like this idea :)

It shouldnt be too hard to do either and with the caching feature of the DB class there will be no performance hit.

Any chance this feature will be available in MS3?

Thanks.
