how to add a field with a user filled name?

Hi everyone,

 

Is there a way to add a user entered field by a product? What I need to do is allow the customer to fill in the name (first and last) that will be placed on the conference ticket they are purchasing.

 

We are a setting up an online store for a non-profit charity that wants to host conferences. Each ticket the customer will purchase requires them to fill in the name that the ticket is for.

 

Is this possible? If so... how can I do this.

Awesome... thankyou. Have you set this up before? I'm trying to get it going but I'm getting stuck with TEXT as a drop down menu instead of adding a user fillable box for some reason... any ideas?
