stillborn Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Hi all, I am performing my first installation and have experienced a problem at step 7 with the error message below being generated. I am hoping someone can advise me where I am going wrong. I have noticed that the file 'configure.php' is not present in 'catalog\includes' and did not ship with my download. Thank you in advance, kev ------------------------------ Warning: fopen(/home/stopngo/public_html/catalog\includes/configure.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/stopngo/public_html/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_7.php on line 209 Warning: fputs(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /usr/home/stopngo/public_html/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_7.php on line 210 Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /usr/home/stopngo/public_html/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_7.php on line 211 Warning: fopen(/home/stopngo/public_html/catalog\admin/includes/configure.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/stopngo/public_html/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_7.php on line 259 Warning: fputs(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /usr/home/stopngo/public_html/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_7.php on line 260 Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /usr/home/stopngo/public_html/catalog/install/templates/pages/install_7.php on line 261 The configuration was successful! ----------------------------
Guest Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Hi You cannot do without the catalog/includes/configure.php file. It seems very strange that it would be missing. You safest bet would be to re-download from a different source and make a fresh installation. Mark
