Galaberg Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Every time i start playing with the layout and look of oscom i seem to modify the scripts in such a way that i effect the sessions. each time i have installed it a new and each time ive come back with a different error. the latest one is: Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /home/substan/public_html/catalog/includes/functions/general.php:1255) in /home/substan/public_html/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67 Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/substan/public_html/catalog/includes/functions/general.php:1255) in /home/substan/public_html/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 67 thats coming up at the top of the home page... i dont know what the hell im tocuhing each time thats doing the damage? is there any special file or section of code that i should keep clear of? thanks ;)

That is most likely your problem You can find an answer to your problem by looking in the knowledge base, common errors, headers already sent error The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

stevel Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Yes, it is wrong. The File Manager in Admin corrupts PHP files - don't useit. In fact, delete file_manager.php from your server - it's a security risk.
