Guest Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Hi all, I am offering download files on my site and I have got the download thing working a treat, downloads nice and easy. I have 2 problems though. First one is that even when they have downloaded the product and the "Link Expires" date has come and gone the orders are still set as "Pending" on the Order Information page. Is there any way to make the default for downloads "Shipped" or do I have to change them all by hand? Second problem is that if they click on the link to download the product when they are still on the "Checkout" page the link still sits there. It doesn't let them download it again but if they click on the link again they are taken to a blank page. Is there a way to automatically refresh the page so that the link gets updated. I tried it myself with a bit of Javascript but it didn't make any difference. Wondered if there was an issue with using JS in a php page. Thanks all
Guest Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 you should use the download controller contribution, works great. set default status to 'updated' second problem sounds like would be solved with download controller.
