The Criteria Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Hello, I am new to this ALL (bet you read this alot  ) and I need some pointers to finish setting up the shopping cart. A few questions here: 1) What steps should I take initially to make sure my shopping cart is secure? 2) I made it through the set up fine however, when I go to my site (e.g. www.mystore.com/catalog) I get the generic "This is a default setup of the osCommerce project..." page. I then attempt to set up an account or to log in and the shopping cart says that my browser does not accept cookies. I know this is not correct. I have gone to the point of "accepting all cookies" in three different browsers to no avail. 3) How do I allow a customer to shop without an account. I read a few articles, but they were somewhat advanced to me. 4) Lastly, I have tried to search through the articles here to find out how to have my customers pay through paypal. I can not afford a merchant account yet so I wanted to stack a few yen away until I can afford one. (Again, I am new to php, mysql, and the likes so I may sound somewhat helpless. That's 'cuz I am :'( ). Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know this is a lengthy post but I did not want to forget anything. "And fear the day when ye shall be brought back to Allah. Then every soul shall receive what it earned and none shall be dealt with unjustly" (Qur'an 2:281) Had We revealed this Qur'an upon a mountain, surely you would have seen it humble itself and crumble out of the fear of Allah. Such are the parables We put forward to mankind so that they may reflect" (Qur'an 59:21) "Do they not consider the Qur'an? Had it been from other then Allah surely they would have found much discrepancies within it" (Qur'an 4:82)
