Guest Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Hi everyone, Tom O'Neill created a contribution so I can have menu tabs instead of those annyoing boxes. Ok it should be easy as pie, right? wrong! I"m having troubles here. First of all, I donwloaded the v2b, becuase I thought it would be a later version. But then why is version 1.0 uploaded sooner than v2? Which one should I use? Second, did anyone else find bugs with this thing? I installed 2b, the menu tabs show up but alas, there is no way to dit them in admin, as the instructions say you can. The new field did not appear in the admin. However, I did go through every instruction and follow it to the letter. so what do you think may be the problem? Third: Is there a better contribution for menu tabs? One that would insatll cleaner than Tom's? Thanks in advance for your advice, -Alex, the handicapped web programmer

Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.

If not that is always the best place to start when you are having problems with a particular contribution. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
