jeilertson Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 I am new to OScommerce and have a few questions about the information gathered from our customers. If anyone can answer one or all of them, I would appreciate it very much. Exactly, what happens to the repository of information received from the individual Internet shoppers who make purchases of our products?? By "repository of information" I mean the breakout of: 1) actual sales; 2) taxes (amount and taxing jurisdiction); and?3) demographic of the Internet consumer. Why:? 1.? We have to maintain accurate accounting records; so, we need to be able to either import or integrate daily sales transactions from the reporting system (set-up) at OSCommerce into our QuickBooks accounting reports.? 2.? We need to be able to track the region/state/country of the people buying our cards on the Internet for sales and marketing purposes. THANKS!!!
