Guest Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 :blush: I am interested in adding a shopping system to my website but have no knowledge of how this works... i will be selling various items and may wih to add fotos as well. What is OSCOMMERCE in simple terms? Does it process credit cards? or is it just a database or something.. Ive taken a look at the website and really cannot understand it at all. If the answers to these questions will just confuse me some more perhaps someone could be recommended who might be able to add oscommerce to my site(as long as it is right for me!! thanks hardfinger

It can integrate to almost any credit card processor and be adapted to almost any situation. No, it's not for you. What you want is a developer who'll make you a web shop! You may even just want to add paypal buy now buttons to your own site! If looking at the osc site you can't figure out what it does then I'd say you were way too lay to tackle this!
