Guest Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Can anyone help me at all please?? Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Check for files with a path that includes "/includes\includes/". That does not look like a proper path to me.
Guest Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 dont make any path changes that are recommended by osCommerce during installation. restart the installation from http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog/install/index.php and then just put in your info for the database username, password, server info, and set store sessions to database. if you have an ssl certificate you need to know the path and change that portion if needed, and enable it. leave everything elsee alone

Thanks eternal <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Change the permissions and add the write permissions like is says. If you have not read the install instructions in the knowledge base you should do so before you do anything else. The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??

Guest Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 what control panel and how do i cahnge permissions. I have read the installation guide but it does not mention permissions? Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Contact your hosting company for details. The Control Panel I was asking about is something provided by the hosting company. You can use File Manager (on the Control Panel) to view the files and the permissions.
