When updating order I get the order date

This little thing is confusing me a bit!

 

I have a store in sweden, and when the custommers makes an order he gets the standard order email, and the date shows in swedish like this:

 

Orderdatum: l?rdag 08 januari, 2005

(order date)

 

But when I manually update the order in admin to like "sent" the email shows the order date in english like this:

 

Best?llningsdatum: Saturday 08 January, 2005

(order date)

 

Where can I change this??

 

I tried understading the code in catalog/checkout_process.php and catalog/admin/orders.php but couldnt figure out what to do!
