I need to add affiliate banner adds to the individual category pages. I have seen a lot of questions about changing and adding banners, logos and other images to the footer, header, right and left columns. I have not seen anyone talk about adding banner ads to the category sections. I want to be able to have 3rd party affiliate banner ads that link to outside sites, not as individual products, but as an element of the category section itself. The banner ad would remain in place as the individual products are clicked on. Each category section would have a different banner ad relevant to that category. In a sense, it would be like adding a header or footer to the category sections. I do not know if this ability has even been developed yet. I see reference to the category and product attributes on the admin side but not on the server side. I hope that I have made this question understandable.
