setting home page as product listing

Hi all,

 

am very new to osc & have spent a few days searching through the site for info to create my shop. What a great resource this is!!

 

I just have a q ..

 

is it possible to change my index.php page so that i have all my products listed (as i only have 6) .. have found the short description mod which i will install as well ..

 

any pointers in the right direction would be great..
