:D :blink: :'( :blink: :'(

We really need to add our own colourful border design to our shop website, but we don't know how to do this and if it can be done?

This border is important as it reflects our business * Glitzee *, does anyone have any clue how this can be done successfully? If it can be added to the homepage can that also continue throughout the entire shop? We would love it if the colourful border is on all pages?

Example here, although colours have changed a bit and this is NOT the final border design-

www.glitzee.com.au

This is our current website until the shop is completed using oscommerce, it shows our coloured border and how we would love to add this to the new shop website- with some changes to the current colours etc.

If anyone can help, can you post instructions or email us?

We would appreciate it ALOT!!!

:D :D :D :D :D

Thanks heaps

well, that is no so difficult, just put your osc pages inside a table with that background image. Start the table in the header, end it in the footer and it will show on all pages.

I did a similar sort of thing with this look, but used a "pink" surround:

As Boxtel said, you need to split your graphic up into 4 parts, top right, left, bottom. Then use tables to place them properly.

<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
 <tr>
   <td colspan="3">top bit of image here</td>
 </tr>
 <tr>
   <td width="10">left side image</td>
   <td>content of your store</td>
   <td width="10">right side image</td>
 </tr>
 <tr>
   <td colspan="3">bottom bit of image here</td>
 </tr>
</table>

Obviously this is a quick example, but I'm sure you get the idea. For more on tables go to http://www.htmlgoodies.com/tutors/tbl.html

Hi Amanda,

Thanks for this info and replying to my request, I will pass this on to my graphics designer and hopefully she will know how to do this.

This has given us new hope and we really appreciate your help.

Welcome any more suggestions.

Thanks

Hello oscommerce experts again I have another challenge-

If someone can please help me again, I would really appreciate it.

1. How do we get our shop website centered with the coloured border & using WHOLE screen? It is aligned to the left of the screen for some reason.

INSTRUCTIONS please................

:huh:

2. How do we change the size of the thin yellow inside border on our shop website, so it is slightly bigger and also centred with the coloured outside border?INSTRUCTIONS please.................

:huh:

3. How to delete the thin yellow inside border (if we wanted to)?

INSTRUCTIONS please.................

:huh:

4. How to centre, adjust thin yellow inside border & MAIN content page, so it is centered properly as the coloured border won't show up on the bottom of the screen- EG- main content page overlaps coloured border and we need to resize this area?

INSTRUCTIONS please..................

:huh:

Problems with alignment, yellow border etc is-
