Default picture sizes for images?

When I add a product to a catalog, it is taking the picture that I upload and skewing it to fit into the appropriate space. But I can't find any documentation anywhere as to what the proper size of pictures should be to work with OSCommerce.

 

Can someone enlighten me to the default picture sizes?

In the admin pages, under configuration then select images and you can set the image sizes to whatever you like!
