EasyPopulate not downloading, not creating file

I guess the topic title describes my situation:

 

I've installed EasyPopulate on my shop, but when I try to download the csv I get a momentary pause and then a refresh-ing of my page. Additionally, when I try to create a file in the 'temp' directory, I also get the same effect.

 

Now, I've read through the manual and I'm certain I've done everything according to the specification. The directory has been chmodded to 777 and I'm /not/ using SSL in my administration. Any guess as to what could be my problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
