Incorrect category loading on main storefront

Morning!!!

 

When my main page loads, the category listings are correct. When you click the "top" link or refresh the page, the category listing changes to "cleaning" and the manufacturer's box comes up. The link is to http://www.housecareproducts.com. Weird.

 

I have moved my site before from previous webhosts and didn't run into this problem. I did have a few issues this time with permissions getting set incorrectly and white spaces being added to a couple of files but I believe I have corrected all of those issues. My webhost had to build me a subdomain so I could test before going live and I didn't see this issue with the categories loading incorrectly during testing.

 

My website is http://www.carma.biz/catalog. It's not very fancy yet, still working on getting down the basics. I did just change the nameservers last night and although I can see the new site, I'm not sure how far along the propogation to the 'net is. The new site does have a paragraph about the category issue for any of my customers who might get a little "confused".

 

If there is anything more I can provide, please let me know. I'm at work at the moment but can access via FTP any files if necessary.

I think I've figured it out (to some degree). Has to do with sessions so for the moment I turned them off and now to work from there!!
