USPS error.... can't get it to work

I tried installing the USPS option from my control panel. I got a username and password from http://www.uspsprioritymail.com/et_regcert.html like I was supposed to. It emailed my account into to me, and that's what I'm using in my oscommerce setup. However, when I go to test it, I get the following error:

 

United States Postal Service United States Postal Service

An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations.

If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner.

 

Is there a patch for this?
