homewetbar Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 One thing I think would be neat and a great feature to see what traffic landed your sale would be to capture the reffering URL in the order. So when you go and view the order details you could see the reffering URL much like in vistors.php or the updated whos online without having to sort through all your logs (visitors.php) or watch the person online complete the sale (whos online). Does anyone know how to go about doing this? Guest Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 that one is tough, if you use the affiliate program and it comes via that wya, then it is ok. however to do so outside of that, you will need to do some programing and pull it from your server log files. not an easy thing to do.

Thank you, Keith Winter <{POST_SNAPBACK}> maybe you could match the orderer ip address with the visitors ip address in that timeframe, check the referer in visitors ? something in that fasion.
