corinna08 Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 i need to change the text that comes up after someone signs up to my newsletter, at the moment it says something that has completely nothing to do with my site. can anyone help? :(
corinna08 Posted January 7, 2005 Author Posted January 7, 2005 what is the text you want to change? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> it reads: "congratulations, you are now registered to receive the nottyfashions newsletter. you will now receive on a monthly basis our newsletter and we will share with you more discoveries about the world of palms" and obviously i don't sell palms. i hadn't realised until a friend of mine had signed up to the newsletter and she told me. so it's been like that for over a month. i'm going away for the week, so if i don't reply soon, i will hopefully tommorrow. thanks for your help

♥Vger Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 Download your website files to your local computer (you should have a local backup anyway - in case the server goes down, gets hacked, or data just gets damaged). Then install a free programme called Text Pad. This has a feature called Find In Files, and you can use this to find out exactly which file that text is in (it will search all of your website files in one go). Vger
