Jack Whitman Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 For the past three days I have been trying to get Dreamweaver to control both a test server and a remote server. :blink: :blink: >_< Currently I have Apache 2.052 w/ PHP 5.3 and a remote ISP provider setup. I do have a local MYSQL server available, but I prefer to make my database changes on the webhosting remote server. My goal is to run both fully functional remote and test servers, using the Admin features locally only. If someone could give me working apache http.conf, PHP.ini and OSCommerce files to get up and running, I would be indebted. Right now, I can only connect through a direct FTP connection, but not a full site. Not good for integration into my own customized site. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
Guest Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 if u follow the instructions for installing apache and php only minor changes required. they are pretty much self explanatory. dont worry about getting dreamweaver working with it at first. even tho you want to make sql changes only on the server, if you want to do testing you need sql locally.
