NiceGuyEd Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 Greetings all. I've made a nasty error in phpMyAdmin from within my PLESK desk... I was attempting to back up my database since I had done a bunch of work to my shop, when I absent mindedly selected "drop" and it deleted it. I have an old version of the database, but it's from a month and a half ago... before I had purchased my ssl certificate. Since I made this error of deleting my db, does this mean I've also deleted my ssl certificate and I need to buy another one? :( Thanks for any insight. Ed
Guest Posted January 5, 2005 Posted January 5, 2005 no, don't worry. the keys are not kept in the database itself and even if you lost them, you could get a new set issued by your cert provider. sorry to hear about your database! you know, your host might just have a much more recent backup.
