Guest Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Hi folks! Happy New Year! I have a question - I've searched the forum but with 1000s of posts it's difficult. Is there a relatively simple way to separate the 'catalog' section of osc from the cart 'engine'? In other words I would like to be able to use the actual shopping cart basket and transactional section with HTML web sites without all of the catalog features/blocks. Aside from just removing un-needed features, is there a way to just 'break' the cart in half <smile> Thanks --mike

The Knowledge Base is a wonderful thing. Do you have a problem? Have you checked out Common Problems? There are many very useful osC Contributions Are you having trouble with a installed contribution? Have you checked out the support thread found Here BACKUP BACKUP BACKUP!!! You did backup, right??
Guest Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Short answer NO. Of course it can be done but not easily. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually it may not be as difficult as I originally thought. I'm using the STS mod which allows easy manipulation of the template. It seems to me that all I would have to do is not include the features I don't want and then link to the individual products from the HTML site. Has anybody tried this approach? Thanks
