Guest Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 I'm new to osCommerce but got some question around it concerning email stuff I'm not gonna run the osCommerce shop on it's own servee but on a webaccount that has a SMTP server for it's users, now I want to adress a certain email to the shop like when ppl getting order stuff and newsletter it will come from the certain shop adress for an example [email protected] but when I look in the Email-options I can only configure which transport method that is gonna be used, Sendmail or SMTP. How is it possible to get the shop to use one email adress? Is it something I need to do or is it the admin of the SMTP server? One question more.. As it is now, you can send emails to customers with osCommerce in the admin section, but is there a contributions that receive email from customers and you'll get them like orders in osCommerce?
