bama Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 Just installed this contribution for RSS feeds. Having trouble with the "link" part of it. I installed is completely, and the box shows up on the home page. I just can't get back to the original source of the articles. It even takes me to another page on my site, but still no links back to the original source. My site is located here: n2scents Look at the lower left and you will see the News box. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Mike Quote
bama Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 I figured it out. Just looked through the code and uncommented some areas and commented others. Looks to be working fine, except if you set articles in infobox >1, then they do not <br> at the right place. They just run together. Any way, AWESOME contribution See it in action here: n2scents.com Mike Quote
smic717394 Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 I managed to install this contribution but I have a few problems. The contribution appear to be correct but if I try to read the information with a RRS reader everything is showing correctly except the pictures, the pictures are not showing. And second if I try to check the validation I get the following error: line 20, column 2: Undefined item element: image (18 occurrences) [help] <image> ^ . Please feel free to check the feeds and suggest something. The feeds are: http://www.cexy.co.uk/rssfeed.php Quote
Pantera Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Which file shoud be installed? In the contributions page are 4 files; I tried the version 2.0 but it did not work. Quote
Pantera Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I installed a similar module for rss (rss glue), it is working but there are a problem with the characters, look at http://manualdaseguranca.com.br and see the boxes at bottom of page. I tried changing the charset to UTF-8, instead the iso-8859-1, then the characters in the box become right, but the characters in the rest of the store become strange. Does anybody have a sugestion? thanks! Quote

RSS Glue, is that available from the osc downloads section? If it is not, there is no way it can be checked here. Quote
