gtmotorsports Posted January 4, 2005 Posted January 4, 2005 Very new to the osCommerce software. I have a client that is using it and I desperately need it to function right. When I click on a product that I want to copy, I hit the button that says Copy to, and it gives me the copy window but there are no catagories listed. There is a good ammount of product already entered and many multiple catagories to choose from. Without this copy function working, I'd have to enter in many duplicate products and then updating the database will be a nightmare. Any ideas on why the catagories box is empty when trying to copy or link a product to another catagory? Might I need to update to the latest osCommerce release? Thanks in advance for any information you can give.

I enter the product category in the databse (products_to_categories). you can build the table in excel, save as csv and upload into the database. much faster than using the copy function.
