Minimun quanity requirement

I have installed the option_type_feature_v1.71 contribution for osCommerce. I'm running a site for a t-shirt company that wants to allow customers to enter in custom text for given t-shirts. However they must purchase a minimum of 24 before they can have the custom text. What is the best way to accomplish this? Any suggestions? Also I have noticed that when I user changes the quanity in their cart, it doesn't update when they click checkout, they have to click update first. Is there an easy way for me to have it update the quanity when the user clicks checkout without first clicking the update button?

Thanks

osCommerce is a great piece of software with wonderful contributions.

Spend some time in the contribution area. There are a lot of gems there.

As a quick (temporary) fix, you could sell these in batches of 24.  24 shirts =one item.

Thanks for the reply,

Unfortunatly, I can't use a simple fix like that. And on top of that, the problem has become much more complicated. I have had to implement a new type of attribute system that pulls the options from a new database table. I'm still in the process of making this work exactly the way I want it to, however I'm getting much closer. I hope that at the end of the month I can post it as a contribution.
