khudson Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 I already have oscommerece setup up and installed and I have been (for several weeks) trying to have a checkout processed by 2checkout.com I started to receive an error saying I was sending the credit card info unsecured to 2checkout. I couldn't configure OScommerace to not accept credit cards, so they offered the solution of purchasing an SSL certificate (which I did) and use that to send the info securely. But I can't configure this, and I'm desperately trying to solve this issue and can't find any info on it. Can anyone help? --Going Insane
♥Vger Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 You could have configured osCommerce to only accept payments by Cheque/Money Order simply by enabling only that module. You say you have a full ssl certificate which you have purchased. 1..First thing - has it been properly installed, and has your host company rebooted the httpd files following the install? 2. Did you then set enable_ssl to 'true' in your includes/configure.php file, and set https pathways to https://www.yourdomain.com, and https cookie domain to www.yourdomain.com? If the answer to question 2 is 'Yes' then post your web address so that we can see if the ssl cert is properly installed. By the way, does your hosting company use a seperate folder for all ssl traffic? Vger

Could you give me direction on how to accomplish that? Thanks. You could have configured osCommerce to only accept payments by Cheque/Money Order simply by enabling only that module. ♥Vger Posted January 3, 2005 Posted January 3, 2005 Download your two configure.php files, edit in a plain text editor (Notepad not Wordpad or Word), insert the pathways as listed in my earlier reply, and then upload the edited file back to the server.
