itfitz Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 We ship world wide and some of our customers, ie Canada, would like to see what the cost of the product is in Canadian dollars. Is there a way to add this in with out editing every product? Example: Designer Skin Siren 13.5oz $27.50 US $34.28 Canada Not an exact conversion, just pulled the numbers out of my butt. Thanks, Shawn If it was easy, anyone could do it!
Rob123 Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Do you want functionality that is beyond the currency dropdown list? The customer picks the currency of choice and all prices are adjusted automagically. Robert
itfitz Posted January 2, 2005 Author Posted January 2, 2005 Is the currency drop down an addon module? If it is, that would be great. They just want to know what their native dollar cost is. Thanks, Shawn If it was easy, anyone could do it!
Rob123 Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Take a look at the right column of the demo site: http://www.oscommerce.com/osCommerce22ms2/ There's an infobox picklist of currencies. Once you change it all of the dollar amounts change. If you do not have the info box you may have removed the box yourself from includes/column_right.php. If you did not remove it, you may have downloaded/purchased a loaded version osCommerce. Ask the people you received the download from for support. Let us know if you downloaded the version from www.oscommerce.com and still need help. HTH, Robert
itfitz Posted January 2, 2005 Author Posted January 2, 2005 I just did an install from my hosting provided. I dont remember removing it, but hell, at this point, I dont remember much at all in regards to what I have done, but I am pretty sure, nearly 100% that I didnt remove it. How do I go about adding it back in and I guess to add more currencies, I would add it under the currencies tab in Admin. Thanks, Shawn If it was easy, anyone could do it!
itfitz Posted January 2, 2005 Author Posted January 2, 2005 found it, it was there all along, just off the bottom of the screen. Thanks for your help If it was easy, anyone could do it!
