Error message

Hello Everyone

 

I am getting the following error message on my order page

 

Warning: Installation directory exists at: /hsphere/local/home/jedstump/coverallsale.com/catalog/install. Please remove this directory for security reasons.

 

Where would I go to remove this error message?

delete the install directory

 

you can do this through several ways:

webhost control panel

via ftp program

via frontpage/dreamweaver type program

 

use ftp method...if you dont have ftp client...there are many good free ftp programs out there...should be easy to find doing a search

I see what I need to do now but I can not delete all the files in the directory as I have not set all my permissions correctly.

How do I reset my permmissions?

if you are using a ftp client it is usually as simple as right clicking and changing the properties....

 

if you are using webhost file manager...you should see option there....

 

some ftp clients dont let you delete a directory that still has contents (by default) you can change that or just delete the contents ...then delete the directory(folder)
