Installation ok, admin tool, index.php not ok

Hi Guys,

 

here's my problem:

installation went sucessfully (directly to webspace root) however, the startpage gives the following error....many times over

 

Warning: Wrong parameter count for strtr() in includes/functions/general.php on line 37

 

and the /admin/index.php the following

 

Warning: Variable passed to reset() is not an array or object in includes/classes/sessions.php on line 306

 

Pease help!

I would try several things. Firstly, upload those two files again - general.php and sessions.php. If that doesn't work then try the following.

 

Sometimes during installation not all the database gets set up correctly. You can try dumping the database via phpMyAdmin, setting up a new blank one (same name), and importing the contents of oscommerce.sql into it from phpmyadmin.
