snowangel Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005  hiya all , im new here, just had heard of this wonderful shopping cart thought i give it a try, I'm amazed how good it is. Anyway, here's my problem, I have many products on the product listing page for any particular categories, but what i would like to do is add a thin line between the products to seperate them, I'm not good at all with PHP, can someone tell me how I can manage this? Thanks
Guest Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Yeah, it is great! There are some contributions you can use to help you manipulate your site's look. Go to contributions (see the link above) and look for something called STS. I'm pretty sure you could do this manually in includes/modules/product_listing.php. You'll need to be able to access the files in a way that you can edit them. I've been told that the current release of OSCommerce has problems in the file manager so use a separate one like your host's control panel or an FTP client. In that file there's a call to the database with an array listing the products. It starts near the top. My file is all hacked up for my needs so I can give you an exact place to put it. It may not even work to drop a line in there. Someone with more experience may come along and give you a better answer. Good Luck!
