ttvo11 Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 The website we like to create is a website selling information. When a customer is interested in the information on the website, the customer make the payment online. After the payment is process, an account is created to allow the customer to get to the MEMBER AREA where the information is available. Can osCommerce do this? If not, do you know of other softwares that can do this? Thanks.
Guest Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 I'd make pdf's available as a downloadable product attribute. ttvo11 Posted January 2, 2005 Author Posted January 2, 2005 Yes, I've thought of that. However, the information being sold includes active internet links and websites. The goal is set up a member area with information and links that are available at the finger tips for interactive research. I'd make pdf's available as a downloadable product attribute. Guest Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Perhaps the simplest is to sell the membership using osCommerce then host the information pages separately with a login to get in - there are many CMS solutions that can handle the latter. Matti
