mahoo Posted January 2, 2005 Posted January 2, 2005 Hey, I was wondering if anyone knows of a contribution that could satisfy the following scenario: A friend of mine has an osCommerce store selling products in one country. Now, he would like to expand to my country but we feel it would be better to have a local store, i.e. a national store so to speak. This second osCommerce store would have an office based in my country etc. When customers search products in my store we would like them to be searching the database of products and stock levels etc. of the parent store. A user account on his database and a connection would obviously be necessary. The basics of adding to basket and payment could be done in my store but then the orders emailed to the parent store to be branded with the national store and then delivered directly to the customer from the parent store. It sounds quite complicated but possibly quite a common practice, i'm not sure?! I have heard about reselling from Amazon. Many thanks, in advance, for your help! Regards mahoo
