Hi,

I am running the 5.10 code with a few of the new modified files that I found posted. I am just testing the installation and most things seem to work fine but when I click on 'Mail Gift Voucher' from the Vouchers/Coupons section of the Admin window, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared in /Library/Apache2/htdocs/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php:13) in /Library/Apache2/htdocs/catalog/admin/includes/functions/database.php on line 13

The knowledge base talks about a file being in the wrong location, outside the language folder, as the cause of this problem. I noticed that gv_mail.php, which I think is causing the error, exists in two locations, one in catalog/admin and the other in catalog/admin/includes/languages/english. The file being called is the former, catalog/admin/gv_mail.php. Is the link wrong? Seems unlikely.

Anybody have any ideas about this? Thanks.

My friend ran into a similar problem and we are investigating it now. This is something else on it ... it seems to be about a MOD causing a function to be declared twice, which hurts the code. (?) The link at the end of the post didn't work for me, however, so I'm not sure what the solution was. Check this out:
