paulsh Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 I'm setting up an online store for my friends shop. we sell clothing, so we have numerous items in different sizes and colours. so if we have blue pants, we might have them in size 30, 32, 34, 36. can oscommerce let us have individual stock levels for the blue pants, depending on the size? so if the customer clicks... blue pants then selects size from the dropdown the stock level is then updated on the screen depending on the size chosen. ie 15 in stock if they pick size 32, 5 in stock in stock if they pick size 30...etc. thanks for reading, all. happy new year!
burt Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 It cannot do this without the addition of extra code. You need to look at "Master Products", or "QT Pro". Both of these are available from the contribution section. QT Pro has also been upgraded and is now commercially available (it is still GPL and Open Source though). This is what a customer of mine uses and it works well. You would need to search Google for the site that sells it.
