notification by email when order placed?

hi all,

 

this is probably an easy fix, but i did a search and found nothing specific to it, and navigated around oscommerce to try and find the feature with no luck...or at least nothing obvious.

 

can someone please help me out or suggest a method?

 

all i want is the store to email me when an order is placed- which it isnt doing right now.

In the Admin section, got to Configuration>My Store and make sure that this field has your email in it

 

"Send Extra Order Emails To"

 

also double check the settings in Configuration>Email Options and make sure everything looks okay in there
