Guest
Come again? I'm sure i'm not the only who doesn't understand your question. Do you mean which machine you should install osCommerce in?
Rob123
I think he's asking which version of osC should be downloaded since his home pc is windows and host runs linux. My vote is Windows although it doesn't really matter. HTH, Robert
Guest
In that case, it's completely up to you. I personally am using the Windows Package.

mhormann
Oops... :-) I must have forgotten there IS a Linux package... I started off using the Win package since I ran it locally at first (on XP/Apache), then did some testing on RedHat and SuSe machines and finally just moved it over to my provider (running SuSe, I think). Works like a charm. Can anyone tell us what the actual differences are between the two? In a nutshell? I don't want to set the world on fire—I just want to start a flame in your heart. osCommerce Contributions: Class cc_show() v1.0 – Show Credit Cards, Gateways More Product Weight v1.
♥Vger
Can't say for certain - but it may be in the 'Install' part of the package. Vger
