scottkenyon Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 hi, i am new to oscommerce, and am just getting setup. in my admin/configure.php setup, i am being asked most options three times. this doesn't seem right. for example: allow guest to tell a friend true allow guest to tell a friend false allow guest to tell a friend false default search operator and default search operator and default search operator and etc..etc... is this correct? why? and which value will it use? if not, how do i fix this? any help/comments would be great! thanks scott kenyon grandevolution
Guest Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 how did you install the site? you can import the sql database via phpmyadmin and make sure it is setup properly, or reinstall from the install directory. then you wont have any problem.

I'm not sure how to follow your first suggestion. as for re-installing from the install directory, one of the setup pages told me to delete the install folder for security purposes, so it's gone now... how do i 'import the sql database via phpmyadmin'? scott kenyon grandevolution
Guest Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 get into phpmyadmin, and select the database for your store from the dropdown menu. then click on sql, then browse to the oscommerce.sql file stored locally on your system.
