Guest Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 in the weight of say a 40" LCD tv is about 176.00 lbs and the ups parcel and zone rates not calculating at all. and the ups parcel does not conntect all the time to ups website through prot:80 any ideas why this happening ?

Also, connections to shipping providers can be at best "inconsistent". They may be down and/or your internet path to them might be "overloaded" causing a connection failure over the internet. HTH Tom

Guest Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 ya I got the maximum package weight to 300 and Im still seeing no total weight in Zone Rates or Table Rate and ups parcel is still down. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I also have aquestion is there a mod out for oscommerce 2.2 M2 to fix this and I have several warehouse that uses different shipping fees for drop shipping. so I might have to add the shipping fees to each product. and just disable the shipping checkout all together. cause this oscommerce is not working to great for shipping weights and the speed of the page loads are not that fast. even though I added in the Optimize_tep_get_tax_ratev1.1_1 and the Page_Cache_v1.3 contributes. and I sell from computer motherboards to cpus to LCD TVs from different sizes and weights and software and playstation 2 and xbox and gamecube systems and sound cards to vidoe cards DDR memory, pc cases power supplies and mens and womens clothing gameboy advanced consoles and alot more. each with different weights. I noticed the small products that has less weight under 50 lbs works good for calculation in shipping. but for large products like the 40" LCD TV weight it wont calculate at all.
