Guest Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 Fist thing you need to do is to backup your database. Your database is priceless, protect it with your life! See osCommerce Knoledge Base for more info. Next you have to copy all files on your server into your hard-drive or wherever safe you want to keep your backup. That's pretty much it for the basic. :thumbsup:
Jack_mcs Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 You need to download all of your files to your computer and then you need to download a copy of your database. Some hosts have backups already done. If this is the case, I would still recommend saving a copy of that file to your computer once in a while.
