bobg7 Posted December 31, 2004 Posted December 31, 2004 In about a month or so I will be selling the same items I have online at a nice indoor flea market and I would like to find a way to be able to print price labels from OSC. They will be one-up labels with the following information: Product Name Product Cost Website Address And be able to print x number of labels for each item. So if I have 20 Big Green Widgets at 49.99 each I can tell it to print 20 labels looking something like this: ______________________ Big Green Widget | $49.99 ea. | http://www.website.com | ______________________| ______________________ Big Green Widget | $49.99 ea. | http://www.website.com | ______________________| And on to the end. I have looked at some of the contributions to print lables but have no idea what to do to make them work as I would like. If anyone has any ideas, thanks in advance  , Bob G. Installed Contributions: CCGV, Close Popup, Dynamic Meta Tags, Easy Populate, Froogle Data Feeder, Google Position, Infobox Header Entire Row, Live Support for OSC, PayPal Seal with CC images, Report_m Sales, Shop by Price Revised, SQL Updater, Who's Online Enhancement, Footer, GNA EP Assistant and still going.
Guest Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 I'd pull your list out with easy populate, then generate a label with a word proccesser program. If you use one for something like mailing labels it usually prompts for fields from a spreadsheet or database. Select the spreadsheet from EP, choose the fields you want, and add you www at the end. You could even get a little logo on that way if there's room. Believe it or not, the best package I've ever used for that was Microsoft Works. It is not a very powerful suite, but it integrated those functions above quickly and easily.
Guest Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 Hey, you know something... i just added Orderlist and the writer mentioned it was based on EasyPopulate functions. Maybe you could start there. I tweaked the output from Orderlist very easily to show the information from orders as I wanted it. If you could get product output instead, it would probably be easy to tweak the format. I don't know about multiple copies per item, though. That would still be easier on your pc.
dblake Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 There is a contribution that displays your complete product list in a new window that is printable. I would take that contribution and then format the way it is displayed. Instead of it showing you all the info, you could strip out the uneeded code and change it to rows and columns, add a nice picture background and walla walla. Instant labels. Now if these are going onto stickers, then obviously you would need to tweak the format a little, but once you got that, your all set and they will be perfect every time :)
dblake Posted January 1, 2005 Posted January 1, 2005 Oh also if you wanted to print out just one product label, x amount of times. You could add in some code to allow the use of selecting a specific product ID and then selecting an amount of how many you want shown. So basically it will repeat the same label over and over x amount of times.
